Applications for the Don Erkis/Lou Berliner High School Jewish Scholar/Athlete Award are now being accepted for the 2012 scholarship. The High School Jewish Scholar Athlete Program was established to recognize local high school Jewish athletes who have excelled in the classroom and in the athletic arena. The scholarship is endowed by the family of Don Erkis, in the memory of Don Ekris and Lou Berliner.
