In addition to select kosher wines, guests will be able to sample kosher cuisine prepared to complement the wines. The menu features three stir fry options, vegetarian, chicken, or beef; steak with portabella mushrooms; chicken wings; and fresh vegetables with assorted dips, spreads and crackers. To complete the menu and satisfy one’s sweet tooth, delicious desserts will be served accompanied by gourmet coffee from Beanetics.
Jazz musician Dwight Lenox will add to the ambiance of the evening by performing from his repertoire of music, including selections from Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, James Ingram, Stevie Wonder, and Lou Rawls.
“We are delighted to host a wine tasting. What is not to love about good food, good wine, and good music? It is a wonderful way to continue our 100 year celebration of our JCC community,” said JCC Member Services Director Linda Starr. “And, it is a perfect time to order wine for Passover.”
Guests will also have an opportunity to win door prizes including “Take and Bake” kosher food items from the JCC’s catering menu, wine, JCC gift cards, and gourmet coffee.
Babysitting will be offered for $5 per child. Reservations for babysitting must be made by January 25. Tickets prices for the event are $30 per person prior to January 25 and $35 per person after January 25. Tickets may be purchased at the JCC’s front desk or by calling (614) 231-2731.
