Gallery Players

www.jccgalleryplayers.org
Gallery Players, started in 1948, is the oldest semi-professional theater group in Central Ohio and strives to present a season lineup highlighting the Jewish experience and work by Jewish playwrights. Gallery Players does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion or gender when casting, and aims to present productions that are of interest to the Jewish and general communities.

Gallery Players Announces 2010-2011 Season
Gallery Players will present four Columbus premiere productions - including a comedy, a children's show, a musical and a drama - during its 62nd season starting this fall. The troupe also is announcing its Pre-Season Ticket special pricing - two for the price of one! "Gallery Players patrons may purchase a pair of season tickets for $40 now through July 16," said Jared Saltman, JCC Artistic Director. "This makes Gallery Players one of the best entertainment deals in the city. If you break it down, the price comes to $5 per show per person - where can you find a better value than that?" Season tickets may be purchased via the Gallery Players box office at (614) 559-6248. All productions will take place in the JCC's Roth-Resler Theater. For more information, including the season line-up, visit the Gallery Players website at www.jccgalleryplayers.org.

Columbus Jewish Film Festival

www.cjfilmfest.org

The Columbus Jewish Film Festival Steering Committee - led by Carole Genshaft and June Frankel - has announced their intention to move the Festival from the spring to the fall of 2010, based on results of a recent survey of patrons and prospective patrons. The survey also indicated that patrons would rather enjoy films during the course of two weeks. As a result, the next full-length Columbus Jewish Film Festival will be Nov. 7-9 and Nov. 14-16, 2010. For more information, click here.

Emily Schuss serves as the Columbus Jewish Film Festival Director. For more information, she may be reached at eschuss@columbusjcc.org or (614) 231-2731.
