From Russia, With Love

If you are passionate about virtuoso performances, then you won't want to miss "From Russia With Love," on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 8 p.m. at the Southern Theater.

The presentation will feature performances by Igor Lovchinsky, piano, grand prize winner of the Eastman International Piano Competition; Columbus' own Leonid and Nina Polonsky, violin and piano; series favorites Stas Venglevski and Mikhail Litvin, bayan (Russian accordion) and mandolin; and the Columbus debut of the Prima Trio, 2007 Gold Medal and Grand Prize winners of the Fischoff International Chamber Music Competition.

Be Our Guest at the Community Dinner

The JCC will host a Community Dinner on Sunday, Nov. 16, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Chef Tony Robertson is planning a delicious Kosher meal that will start with Mushroom Barley Soup and a Mixed Green Salad, followed by Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Rolls, and the Chef's Fresh Veggies, topped off with Cookies. Coffee and Lemonade also will be served.

The cost is $16 per person, $8 for children under age 8, and free for children under age two.
