A young Rembrandt hard at work.

It's hard to believe that the end of 2008 is almost upon us! The JCC North Preschool had a successful Note Card Sale in November, featuring art from each of our children - even those in the infant/toddler room! We know they'll make wonderful gifts for the holidays.

In December, we will have Identi-kid at our center to photograph and fingerprint our children (free of charge) to be given to police in the event that one of our children should go missing.

On Dec. 10, at 8:45 a.m., JCC Early Intervention Specialist Shara Reiss will be talking with parents on a variety of topics. We will provide the coffee and tea, you can provide the questions for Shara! We have decided to have an "open forum" this time, rather than limit the discussion to a specific topic. So, come with your list of issues that you would like to discuss with Shara and get prepared for the upcoming holiday season!

Our Early Childhood Parent Committee (ECPC) also will be holding a gift wrap for all of our parents on Dec. 16, 17 and 19. An ECPC meeting also will be held Dec. 17 at 7 p.m.

Please note that our half-day program will be closed from Dec. 22 through Jan. 2.
