The JCC and a super-motivated volunteer are starting a new "Walking in the Neighborhood" fitness program.
This class will be led by Bobbi Sue Cornwell and will show new members the format and structure of a variety of the classes the JCC offers - from Trim and Tone, to Step, to Cardio Interval and beyond! Bobbi Sue will instruct new members on technique and exercise form so that new members feel more comfortable joining classes with members who have been attending on a regular basis, and also help new members become acquainted with other new members.
The JCC currently is offering a Youth Fitness Circuit Class on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 p.m., now through Dec. 22, instructed by Justin Morrow. The class offers exercises that will work on improving your child's cardio and strength endurance. Age appropriate equipment will be used in this fun class. For more information and to register, contact Justin Morrow at (614) 559-6286.
Starting in January, the JCC will begin three new programs - Fencing, instructed by Julia Richey, founder of Royal Arts Fencing Academy in New Albany; Israeli Dancing, taught by Noga and Neev Granite; and The Amazing Race, a new fitness incentive program. For more information and to register, contact Beth McCullough at (614) 559-6207.
