Come join the JCC Maccabi ArtsFest
in Orange County, California!

Recruitment for the JCC Maccabi ArtsFest in sunny, warm Orange County, California is well underway!

This year, arts specialties include acting/improv, creative writing, dance, digital photography, film and television production, jazz ensemble, musical theater, rock music, visual arts and vocal music. Jewish teens in grades 8-12 (for the 2009-10 school year) will choose one specialty. They will work with other teens and an artist-in-residence during the day, and participate in social events in the Orange County area at night. On Thursday night, all of the teens' hard work pays off, as they perform for the entire community.

The first Columbus delegation will be in Orange County from Sunday, Aug. 9 through Friday, Aug. 14. Freshman Beth Weisbach said, "I am excited to go to California for a week to do amazing things!" She will be joined on the trip by Hannah Rossio.

Currently, there are only four spots left, so sign up today!

In addition, we are actively seeking scholarship money to enable several of our teens to attend. All donor names will be recognized on Columbus' ArtsFest t-shirt.
