When the school day is over, there is more fun to be had at the JCC College Avenue and at the JCC New Albany with Kaleidoscope, an Ohio State Licensed, recreational-based Jewish after school program for kids in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Registration is now open for the 2009-2010 school year, and participants may sign up for occasional care or monthly care.
Kaleidoscope runs from 3 to 6 p.m. daily, and includes a variety of activities such as swimming (College Avenue only), sports, arts and crafts, and theme days like "Wild and Crazy Day" and "Mystery Day." And staff members will be happy to help with homework, too!
Transportation to the College Avenue site is available from Columbus School for Girls, Columbus Jewish Day School (CJDS), Columbus Torah Academy (CTA), Columbus Academy and all Bexley schools. Bexley resident students from CJDS, CTA, and Columbus Academy take their bus to a Bexley school, where they are picked up by the JCC. Transportation also is available from New Albany schools to the JCC New Albany.
