Over 400 people gathered in New Albany on Sunday, Aug. 23, to celebrate the opening of the Northeast Jewish Community Campus -
a new facility for the JCC and the Columbus Jewish Day School (CJDS). This historic new facility this year will serve over 160
preschool children from 6 weeks old to pre-Kindergarten and 118 children from Kindergarten through the 6th grades at CDJS.

Steve Schottenstein Sees Northeast Project to Fruition

The final items to be moved into the new Northeast Jewish Community Campus prior to the start of school last week were the two Torah scrolls,
which were carried from the old building in a quarter-mile procession through New Albany to the new facility at 150 E. Granville Rd. Carrying one
of the scrolls over the threshold was Steve Schottenstein, who was instrumental in making the new facility a reality.

Creative Curriculum Introduced to JCC Preschoolers
