When we talk about L'dor V'dor, it is often around the theme of future leadership and future generations. This month I want to share some reflections on L'Dor V'Dor in terms of those whose shoulders upon which we stand today.
It Begins With The Children:
J-Zone - Linking The Generations
It Begins with the Children Capital and Endowment Campaign will raise funds for a stunning new addition at the JCC on College Avenue. The J-Zone, an 8,500 square foot addition, will serve the next generation of pre-school and elementary school children with a variety of cutting edge fitness, play and interactive gaming equipment and programs.

Meet JCC Youth Sports Recreation Supervisor, Justin Morrow
One might think that at 6 foot-plus tall, Youth Sports Recreation Supervisor Justin Morrow might be a little intimidating to children. However, with his easygoing personality, his fun recreational activities for kids, and his stickers for a job well done, Justin is adored by all of his pint-sized charges.
Bookfair Continues in January!
The JCC's annual Jewish Bookfair - one of Central Ohio's largest and most popular literary events - continues in January with the appearance of Chris Bohjalian, author of Skeletons at the Feast, on Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the JCC.
Vinocur Receives Special Thanks from New Horizons Seniors
The New Horizons 60+ Group for Active Seniors recently awarded Program Director Debbie Vinocur a Certificate of Appreciation.

The JCC is the site of numerous lifecycle events each year, but one Pre-Kindergarten class recently had the rare opportunity to participate in a marriage proposal.

Be sure to mark your calendars now for the JCC's biggest night of the year - the annual JCC Gala - scheduled for Saturday, March 6, 2010, at 7:30 p.m.! The theme for this year's Gala will be Vintage Las Vegas.
