JCCNAP Wraps Up Bookfair

At the JCC New Albany Preschool, the families, students and staff recently wrapped up their 4th annual Scholastic Bookfair.

Students enjoyed story time activities, previewing and selecting new and special books with their teachers and parents, a "Special Persons" breakfast event and visits & photos with "Clifford the Big Red Dog."

Even though the weather didn't fully cooperate, the Preschool Musical Concert, with entertainment by Buckeye Sounds, was a huge success! Families came out to dance, sing, and shake the wintry weather blues away.

JCC New Albany ECS Director Nancy Thoman said, "Proceeds from the book air enable us to purchase Scholastic products and books for the classrooms and students. We would like to extend a very special Thank You to all the wonderful Parent volunteers that helped staff the bookfair; your time, commitment and support is invaluable. Frankly, without the effort and work of committed event chairs like Melanie Butter and Martha Goldberg we couldn't accomplish all that we do each and every day!"
