Preschool Raises Funds to Plant Trees in Israel

Carnival Fun

Students at the JCC North Preschool recently performed a unique mitzvah project for Tu B'Shevat. They raised money in order to plant trees in Israel.

In total, the children raised $113 - enough to purchase six trees to be planted in Israel in honor of the JCC North children.

Dress Up Day - The Purim Way!

Children at the JCC North Preschool are invited to dress up in their favorite costume and enjoy the fun at their very own Purim Carnival on Wednesday and Thursday, March 19 and 20.

Mom and Dad - you can get in on the festivities, too! Parent volunteers are needed to help with the carnival games. Contact Nikki Henry at (614) 764-2414 or nhenry@columbusjcc.org for more info.

Sprouts Awaiting Time to Bud at JCC North

A sure sign of spring is sprouting at the JCC North - the Budding Artist Spring Art Show is being planned for Wednesday, April 2, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

"The art show is an event for the whole family," said Nikki Henry, JCC North Preschool director. "We're inviting everyone to come and enjoy the artwork, cooies, and bid on some very cool items."

Donations for the silent auction still are being accepted. For more information, contact Henry at (614) 764-2414 or nhenry@columbusjcc.org.
