Teens Tour Three College Campuses With JET

JET College Caravan

During the recent Presidents' Day weekend, 12 members of the Jewish Experiences for Teens (JET) traveled to Kenyon College, Miami University and Indiana University to tour the campuses and Hillels. "This picture was taken under the Upham Arch at Miami University. Legend says that if you kiss your significant other under the Upham Arch at midnight, you are destined to marry," said Samara Chodosh, JET director. Pictured here (left to right) are: L - R Jonathan Lebowitz, Noa Ohayon (community schalicha), Miriam Geiger, Leah Epstein, Galit Aminov, Lizzy Baskin, Mimi Wilhelm, Cecilia Burke, Amanda Rosenthal, Jenny Bromberg, Annie Weiss, Talia Levine, Lizzy Shpitalnik and Chodosh.

Mark your calendars for these upcoming JET activities:

  • Sunday, March 2 – Got Israel? Teens are invited to come to OSU's Hillel from 6-8:30 PM for the first teen Israel initiative event! We'll start with roundtable discussions on Israel-related topics and end with a performance from comedian Joel Chasnoff. We'll also provide dinner and have a raffle! This event is perfect for all teens, whether they have never thought about Israel before or they are experts! This event is free, but tickets are required.
  • Saturday, March 22 – Annual JET Purim Party will be held at Gameworks with the Friendship Circle, from 9 to 10:30 p.m. We'll start with a comical megillah performance and end with an hour's worth of games! We'll also provide snacks and have a raffle! This event is free, but tickets are required.
