David Moss surrounded by children during his presentation at the Columbus Jewish Day School on April 4.
While the exhibit of his artwork continues through May 11, David Moss took a few moments prior to Passover to write to his friends in Columbus.
To all my new and old Columbus friends....
As your thoughts are centered on Jerusalem just before Seder, know that here in Jerusalem everyone I meet is hearing the praises of Columbus!
I've raved to all about what a beautiful week I experienced with you. It was such a pleasure meeting and working with each one you. Every detail of the residency was so professionally planned, so expertly executed.
But beyond the impressive professionalism, the warmth of your open, friendly and loving welcome truly moved me.
I hope the expectations you had for the week were realized. From my standpoint, I truly felt that I was able to connect meaningfully with each group I met with.
I hope I was able to convey a bit of the spirit of Jerusalem and to share some of my life's work with your wonderful community.
With all my thanks and appreciation for a very gratifying week,
David
Be sure to stop by the JCC before May 11 to see the beautifully moving prints, pottery, calligraphy and papercutting that David has created.
