Camp Arye Director John Weaver climbs the Giant's Ladder at the new High Ropes Course, while Camp Hoover Director Ben Brant looks on.
Earlier this spring, the High Ropes Course at Camp Hoover underwent major changes - major enough that the "big kids" couldn't resist and organized a day to go and test it out.
While the field trip was done under the guise of "training" in case of emergencies, these "kids" (camp counselors, preschool teachers, and recreation and wellness personnel) certainly had a good time climbing all over the equipment.
The brand new, state-of-the-art course was made more challenging and more fun for campers and community groups alike through the support of Marvin and Sue Katz and the Berman Endowment Fund at the Columbus Jewish Foundation.
For more information about renting the High Ropes Course at Hoover for your community group or corporation for team-building exercises, please contact Camp Hoover Director Ben Brant at (614) 559-6286.
Summer Camp registration will be open throughout the summer until the end of camp. For more information on Camp Hoover, located on the shores of Hoover Reservoir in Westerville, visit the JCC Summer Camp website at www.columbusjcc.org/summercamps.
