Red Cross Blood Drive Set for June 4

Red Cross

To Life Columbus! (TLC) will sponsor an American Red Cross blood drive at the JCC on Wednesday, June 4, from noon to 6:30 p.m.

TLC, formerly the Jewish Community Blood Donor Council of Columbus, is comprised of dozens of individual volunteers from Columbus' Jewish community. TLC volunteers affiliate with Reform, Conservative, Orthodox, and Reconstructionist congregations, as well as a variety of Jewish schools, agencies, and community centers. They volunteer because blood donations have saved their lives or the lives of their loved ones. Others help out because of their commitment to the Jewish community and to all residents of central Ohio.

Though they work with Jewish institutions, many of their regular donors are not Jewish. Participation in the blood drive - either as a donor or volunteer - are welcome, regardless of religious background. To schedule an appointment, contact the Red Cross at (614) 251-1451 or visit www.tolifecolumbus.org.

The next blood drive to take place at the JCC is scheduled for July 9. TLC blood drives are supported by the Columbus Jewish Federation and the Richard Lieberman Perpetual Life Endowment Fund of the Columbus Jewish Foundation.
