JCC Kicks Off Phase 1 to Grow Jewish Columbus

The JCC is pleased to take the lead in Phase 1 of the Columbus Jewish Federation's Grow Jewish Columbus its ongoing efforts to create a more vibrant and welcoming community. Phase 1 focuses on developing "Best in Class" JCC Early Childhood Services in the Northeast, Northwest, and on our College Avenue campus. The leadership of the JCC recognizes the tremendous growth in the Jewish community of Northeast Columbus. This segment of our community is vibrant, involved, and in need of programming and services which are located in their geographic area.

JCC Really is Place to Begin Journeys and Share Simchas

The JCC is priveleged to share in many families' simchas each year - whether it be a special birthday, bar or bat mitzvah, anniversary, or wedding. But our job is more than just providing a space for celebrations. The JCC also has been the site of "meetings" that started out small and led to much bigger things. One such "meeting" was that which took place between A.J. Solomon and Heidi Gotlieb during summer camp. That brief moment when they first met led to several other simchas - a wedding, a bris, and the first day of JCC preschool.

JCC Offers Rehearsal Space to CSO

The JCC has expressed its support of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra and its musicians by sending a letter to Doug Fisher, president of the Central Ohio Federation of Musicians, Robert Trafford, president of the CSO Board of Trustees, and Tony Beadle, CSO executive director. The letter expressed the JCC's support by offering the use of the Roth-Resler Theater in the hopes that the musicians may utilize it for rehearsals to present concerts and help garner support the CSO needs. In addition, the musicians and their families may use a two-week family pass to the JCC. If you would like to read the letter in its entirety, please click here.

JCC Hours for July 4th Holiday

The JCC announces the following hours for the July 4th holiday:
- Thursday, July 3 - Indoor and Outdoor pools close at 7:30 p.m., with locker rooms closing at 7:45 p.m. The JCC building will close at 8 p.m.
- Friday, July 4 - Diamond Family Fitness Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the locker rooms closing at 5:45 p.m. The indoor pool will be open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and the outdoor pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
