Campers Delight in Hoover's
Newly Upgraded High Ropes Course

Climbing Wall
A camper gets a good grip on the climbing wall at Camp Hoover.

Earlier this spring, the High Ropes Course at Camp Hoover underwent a complete renovation, and summer campers didn't take long to test their skills on the new equipment. Camp Hoover Director Ben Brant said that each week, the campers are taught how to work with a new feature on the course - but safety comes first. "The campers first are taught how to wear and take care of their climbing equipment and to be aware of each climber and where they are on the course," he said.

The brand new, state-of-the-art course was made more challenging and more fun for campers and community groups alike through the support of Marvin and Sue Katz and the Berman Endowment Fund at the Columbus Jewish Foundation.

For more information about renting the High Ropes Course at Hoover for your community group or corporation for team-building exercises, please contact Camp Hoover Director Ben Brant at (614) 559-6286.
