Do you know what your kids will be doing after school this fall? If you're not sure, then perhaps the Kaleidoscope program at the JCC College Avenue or JCC New Albany locations may be the answer.
This school year, Kaleidoscope at the main JCC center will spend the entire year in the Zusman Center. This means that the kids will have plenty of room for sports, art projects, homework, skateboards, bikes, scooters and so much more! The Zusman Center is located next to the JCC playground and the Barkan Sports Court, so Kaleidoscope kids will continue to use these facilities (weather permitting), as well as the indoor pool and gym. In addition, parents will have the convenience of being able to drive around back for pick-up and not have to come into the building.
The JCC New Albany Kaleidoscope students will be at 79 N. High St., home to the JCC New Albany Preschool and the Columbus Jewish Day School. Students are transported via bus or escorted by our staff from the New Albany Schools. During the school year, students receive nutritious snacks while in our care, have supervision and assistance with homework and school projects, and enjoy access to our gymnasium, computer lab, outdoor fields, playgrounds and nature trails. A variety of activities and enrichment occur weekly from art to cooking projects, cultural studies and student-focused learning activities, along with special movie and game days.
And because we value parent referrals so much, each time a new full time Kaleidoscope participant signs up for the program, the JCC will take $25 off of the same month's bill for the referring family. The referral incentive is offered throughout the school year.
