The JCC Aquatics Department features three heated pools, two at the JCC facility on College Avenue and another is housed at the Hoover Family Park campgrounds.
The indoor pool at the JCC is a 6 lane 25 meter heated competition pool and holds 200,000 gallons of water ranging in depths from 2.5 ft. to 12 ft. The indoor pool also has a regulation diving board and restrooms located on the pool deck and is open year-round.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8 to 9 a.m., the JCC pool is open to women only for those members and guests who observe Halacha, and wish additional privacy.
The JCC’s outdoor pool is open during the summer months and is a 6 lane 25 meter heated pool that holds 235,000 gallons of water ranging in depths from 2.5 ft. to 12 ft. The outdoor pool features a slide and a 1 ft. baby pool. The outdoor pool also features an expansive pool deck with lounge chairs, as well as a fully stocked concession area.
The JCC’s Hoover pool is a 6 lane 25 meter heated pool that holds 165,000 gallons of water ranging in depths from 2.5 ft. to 8 ft. and is used primarily by the JCC Summer Campers but is available to the JCC staff and membership for use on select Sundays during the summer.

Come join us at the Hoover Family Park! The park features: heated outdoor pool, waterfront, boating, picnic area, pavilion, hiking trails, ropes course, basketball court, and sand volleyball court.
All ages and fitness levels can benefit from aquatic exercise. While the water will protect and lessen impact on the joints, the water also surrounds the body with constant resistance to build strength, endurance, and increase flexibility. Jump in and join us! The pool is for everyone!
The JCC offers American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim classes provide instruction to help swimmers of all ages and abilities develop their swimming and water safety skills. It is designed to give students a positive learning experience.
The Capital City Swim Team recognizes its mission to provide the youth of our community with a USA Swimming club and to promote the sport of swimming in Central Ohio.
The idiom “Every dog has its day” becomes true at the Pooch Pond. On the final day of each outdoor pool season, JCC members are invited to bring their canine guests along for a fun afternoon at the pool.
