We’ll get you motivated and keep you moving with our group exercise classes – you’re guaranteed to find something that will keep you coming back for more.
General group exercise classes, including strength, flexibility, step, and spinning classes, are free to all members. Mind/Body classes, including several levels of Yoga and Physio-Pilates, are free for Health Center members and offered at a small fee to general members.

Group Exercise Class Descriptions
20/20/20: 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of strength & 20 minutes of core, cool down & stretching = 1 great workout!
Ab Lab: A 15 minutes ab & lower back workout
Advanced Core and Kinesis: Perfect for the intermediate exerciser who wants to strengthen their core and tone the entire body. Taught by a personal trainer and uses a variety of equipment: Kinesis, medicine balls, Pilates Reformer, and more. $15 per class per member. Payment required prior to start of class.
Barre Strength: A 60 minute class using the Ballet Barre, light weights, tubes and bands to build long, strong muscles and a toned core.
Begin to Spin: A gentle introductory to Spinning. No prior experience is necessary. Great beginner class for those new to exercise. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to get your bike set up.
Body Pump: This 60 minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!
Boot Camp: Boot camp is a challenging workout that will help build strength, increase endurance and burn calories! Good for all fitness levels, various fitness toys and equipment will be incorporated into the class. Each class is different – try them all!
Cardio/Agility: 30 minutes of drills and exercises to strengthen the entire body & improve agility. Bring a towel and water! NOT FOR BEGINNERS! This class will be held in the Gymnasium.
Cardio Boot Camp: A boot camp that incorporates cardio interval training. All fitness levels welcome!
Circuit Training: Need a workout boredom buster? This class will keep you moving from station to station in timed intervals. You will blast fat and sculpt muscle while burning at least 10 calories a minute. Build strength, increase endurance, and tone muscle – all at the same time.
Core & Flex: Strong Core = Strong Body! Try this challenging class to strengthen from the shoulders to the inner thighs. This class incorporates flexibility work using stability balls, weights and other “toys” to provide a different workout every time.
MetCon & MetCon Kids: a 50 min small group class with a personal trainer on the Rogue Rig that will build strength & increase metabolic burn. $15 per class per member. Payment required prior to the start of the class.
Pilates: Lengthen and strengthen core muscles using your own body weight as resistance. Various equipment is used – large balls, small balls, light weight, tubes – all fitness levels welcome.
Restorative Yoga: A 60 minute class designed to help, relax and build flexibility in a safe, low stress environment. Various Yoga props will be used – feel free to bring a pillow or blanket in addition to your mat.
Spinning/Cycling: An intense 30, 45 or 60 minute class that will help build endurance and challenge your lower body strength. Using music and imagery, this workout is fun and motivating. No two classes are alike, so try them all!
Spin / Core: 30 minutes of intense cycling followed by 30 minutes of intense abs and back strengthening. Guaranteed to make you sweat & feel the burn!
Strapped 2 Fitness: A 50 min class with a personal trainer using the TRX straps on the Rogue Rig to overall strengthen the body with an emphasis on the core. $15 per class per member. Payment required prior to the start of the class.
TBS: A challenging 30, 45 or 60 minute low impact workout using a variety of equipment including step, ball, weights, tubes, bands focusing on whole body strength and toning. All fitness levels are welcome.
Ultimate Cross Training: A multi-level cardio based class that offers variety to change up your workouts. This class will incorporate a combination of hip hop, cardio boxing and sculpting exercises to help you obtain a more toned, balanced and stronger body.
Yoga Mix: a 60 minute class of Ashtanga &Vinyasa blend. The class format will vary from week to week, but expect a high energy challenge every time!
Yoga Strength: The OM-free zone to build strength, balance and flexibility. Expect core strengthening poses, an occasional arm balance and an opportunity to explore our body’s capabilities. Not for those with mobility issues.
Flo Yoga: A 60 minute mixed levels yoga class where students will flow from pose to pose using the breath as a guide. Expect to build some heat with sun salutations and challenging standing poses and end with a calming savasana to send you on your way.
Women on Weights: A women’s only weight training class designed for women and taught by a female personal trainer focusing on strength, core, weight loss and flexibility. $15 per class per member. Payment required prior to the start of the class.
ZUMBA: Zumba utilizes the principals of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. You can burn 400-700 calories in one hour!
ZUMBA Toning: Same as Zumba, but with the added challenge of light hand held weights (no more than 3 lbs).
Silver Sneaker Class Descriptions & Schedule
SilverSneakers® CLASSIC: Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.
ALL MEMBERS MAY ATTEND!
SilverSneakers®Yoga: SilverSneakers® Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. ALL MEMBERS MAY ATTEND!
SilverSneakers®Cardio: Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball is alternated with low-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is used for standing support, stretching, and relaxation exercises. MUST BE ABLE TO STAND FOR THE ENTIRE CLASS.
Easy Ride: A gentle introductory Cycling class 45 minutes long. No prior experience necessary! This class will help build endurance and challenge your lower body strength. Using music and imagery, this workout is fun and motivating. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class start time in order to set up the bike.
ZUMBA Gold: Zumba, at a reduced pace and intensity, specifically for Seniors. Also a good class for those not accustomed to exercise.
Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance and Fall Prevention: A 12 week course that includes 2 hours of instruction with a trained and certified instructor each week, balance assessment prior to program start and at the end of the program, a manual and an instructional DVD. This is an evidence-based class that has been proven to improve balance, reduce the incidence of falls, increase self-confidence , reduce stress and build strength and spatial awareness. Pre-registration and pre-payment are strongly recommended, as class maximum enrollment is 12.
All General Group Exercise Classes are FREE! There is a fee of $40 for the 12 week Tai Chi Program, which includes balance assessment, 24 hours of instruction, manual and DVD.
Schedule subject to change: Classes averaging less than 8 participants quarterly will be cancelled.
Arrive to class on time, warmed up and ready to go. Warm ups are essential! Don’t risk injury!
