GALA 2010 is Huge Success!
The JCC's biggest night of the year - the annual JCC Gala on March 6 - was a huge success!

Gala is the JCC's most visible and spectacular fundraising event that helps fund essential JCC services, while providing an enjoyable evening of entertainment and socializing to attendees of all backgrounds. As the JCC's most popular fundraising event, Gala makes a huge difference in the lives of more than 150,000 people every year. Even more so in this difficult financial time, the JCC needs community support to help provide critical programs to those who otherwise may not be able to afford it.

SPORTS SPECTACULAR
Each fall, the Columbus Jewish community celebrates the achievements of its adult athletes in a special event known as Sports Spectacular that is a day of sports and camaraderie as well as being a fundraiser. In addition to the golf outing, Sports Spectacular also features the induction of an outstanding Central Ohio athlete or coach who have accomplished extraordinary achievements in sports and made significant contributions to society through sports into the JCC's Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. The date of the 2010 Sports Spectacular will be announced soon.

KOSHER WINE TASTING
Each year, the JCC sponsors a Kosher Wine Tasting during which patrons may enjoy and learn about various elegant kosher wines paired with delicious appetizers and cheeses. The 2010 Kosher Wine Tasting, which was held Jan. 23, featured live Jazz music by the Daniel Zwelling Trio. Door prizes also were given away, and patrons had the opportunity to order their Passover wine early. The event was sponsored by SherBliss, with in-kind donations by Cabot.
