Women’s Mamanet

It’s the game of Newcomb, a popular camp game, and very similar to volleyball. Each team has 7-9 players. Two divisions: recreational and competitive. The recreational program is focused on more practice time and in-game learning opportunities through scrimmages. In the competitive league, all teams have practice days and play competitive games for which standings are kept.

Pickleball

Info: Pickleball is a fun game that is played on a  court similar to tennis but smaller with a lowered net. It is played with a ball similar to a whiffle ball and wood or composite paddles. The game can be played as singles or doubles like tennis.

Pickleball is easy for beginners to learn, and can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

Additional Info: For more information such as rules and videos, please check out The United States Pickleball Association website – www.usapa.org
