Shabbat Project
The Shabbat Project is a global, grassroots movement that has united more than one million Jews from around the globe. Jews of all ages, across the religious spectrum, come together for a complete Shabbat experience. It’s an occasion to strengthen Jewish identity, to develop and grow bonds with family and community, and to connect with Jews across the world.
The Shabbat Project was founded by Rabbi Warren Goldstein, the chief rabbi of South Africa who has a Ph.D. in human rights and constitutional law. He is a regular columnist for The Jerusalem Post.
The program began when Jerry and Laura Sigal brought the International Shabbat Project to Columbus.
