Halle has been a staff member at the JCC of Greater Columbus since 2006. Since joining the JCC staff, she has served as an Early Childhood teacher, Judaics Specialist, Communiteen Director, Mother’s Circle Facilitator, Birthday Party Coordinator and Special Needs Coordinator. During the year Halle supervises a team to create and facilitate programing for youth that connects them to the JCC. When summer is not in session, Halle is creating and implementing summer camp programs, activities and trends in the day camp field. Halle’s passion is to bring informal Jewish education to all programming. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, who are family, and watching a plethora of television.
Tasha is a graduate of Brookhaven High School, The Ohio State School of Cosmetology and the Heritage College where she majored in Hospital Management and Administration. Tasha has over 15 years of great customer service and 1 year of working in the JCC’s early childhood program. She is a very enthusiastic person who hopes to bring her enthusiasm and extensive customer service knowledge and skills to the Children, Youth and Camping Department.
Kaley loves working with kids and has lots of experience with the summer camp environment and the JCC. Kaley spent her summers as a child at the JCC summer camps as well as attended pre-school here! She is a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Child and Family Studies. Kaley is currently the children’s coordinator and directs Kaleidoscope, the after school program, during the school year. Kaley can’t wait to have another great summer at Camp Chaverim!
Raeann is joining us for her fourth summer at the JCC. She has been a camp counselor for Camp Yeladim and Chaverim and was the Assistant Director for Camp Ora last summer. In 2015, Raeann received a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Capital University. During the school year, she is a preschool teacher at the JCC. She is excited to be joining the team of directors to make the 2018 camp season awesome!
Kait is returning to the JCC for her third summer; summer 2018 as Camp Arye Director. Kait graduated from Ohio University in 2016 with a degree in Child Development. In the past, she has worked with individuals with multiple disabilities — and most recently, emotional disabilities — for Columbus City Schools. She is very excited to continue the growth of Camp Arye and give every camper a remarkable summer.
Heather a Columbus native, grew up attending Jewish overnight camp for 6 summers as a camper and 4 summers on staff. She returned to Columbus after attending the University of Cincinnati and graduating with a degree in Social Work and Judaic Studies. Throughout the school year Heather teaches pre-school here at the JCC, as well as organizing youth programing as the Youth Engagement Director at her congregation. This will be Heather’s second summer at Hoover and she is beyond excited to share the upcoming summer with you!
Sheri is currently employed as the New Albany preschool director.
Molly serves as the Early Childhood JCC North Site Director…
Leslie has a BS in Family Relations and Human Development from The Ohio State University, and over 26 years experience working with young children. She even attended the JCC Camps as a youngster, and all three of her children were campers as well! During the school year, Leslie teaches 2 year old half day preschoolers and supervises the Infant/Toddler Program. Leslie is very excited to spend another summer directing Camp Yeladim.
