Membership Basics
Monthly Vs Annual Membership
We recommend monthly, as there are no savings in doing the annual option. The monthly is a perpetual membership that requires 30 days’ notice of cancellation.
Is There a minimum amount of time for a Membership?
You can join for any amount of time. Your monthly fee will prorate at the join date, and you can either pre-cancel or provide 30 days’ notice of cancellation when the time comes.
Do I have to take a tour before joining?
It’s up to you! We would love to meet you and show you the facility, but a tour is not necessary. You can join online by going here or give the membership office a call.
Can I Get a short term membership?
Yes, our monthly memberships allow you to customize your membership based on your need. No minimum is required.
What is the price of JCC Membership?
Price varies on type of membership. See full pricing breakdown here.
Are discounts or scholarships available?
Yes, scholarships and certain discounts are available. Please contact Evi Goldberg at egoldberg@columbusjcc.org for more information.
How Many People Can be on my membership?
The maximum for a family (3+ Person) Membership is 2 adults (ages 26+) and 6 dependents.
How Do I Update my membership?

How Do I cancel my membership?
You cannot cancel your membership online. Contact Egoldberg@columbusjcc.org
Can I bring guests?
We would love for you to bring a family member or friend. Our guest policy is here
Please note that guest arrangements for Saturdays must be made in advance.
I belong to a different JCC, Can I attend yours when I vist?

Accounts & Billing
How Do I create a JCC Account?
Visit the JCC Community Portal here and follow the instructions provided. Use the email associated with your JCC Membership.
Do I Have a JCC Account?
Before creating a new account, try logging in with the email associated with your membership and clicking change password.
What Can you do with your JCC Account?
- Update your payment information (ONLY if you are the primary account holder)
- Register for programs
- update personal information
What Can you not do on your JCC Account?
- Change your membership type
- add or remove family members on your membership
- cancel membership

Can I Put my Membership on pause?
15 days‘ notice must be provided for a minimum of a one-month freeze. Your membership will automatically restart on the date provided.
I Joined online, why I have I not received anything?
- Be sure you saved your payment method on file
- Please allow a few minutes for the Welcome email
When will I be billed for my Membership?
You will be billed on the first of the month.
What Payment Methods do you Accept?
We accept credit and debit cards. To avoid a 3% processing fee, please use an ACH (Automated Clearing House) to avoid this fee.
Can my Monthly Membership Dues be billed on a different day?
We apologize for any inconvenience, but we cannot change the billing date.

Membership Office hours are:

Tuesday: 8:30a – 7p
Wednesday: 8:30a -5p

Saturday: closed
Sunday: 8:30a – 4p
What happens if I do not get my Brivo access email?
Please be sure you entered in all of your family members’ emails. If they don’t have email, please leave blank.
Depending on the time of day you joined, the passes may arrive the following day. You are welcome to join the JCC, and the front desk staff will send you the passes.

The passes are only active for 72 hours after you have received them. Please ensure they are activated as soon as possible join.
I got a New Phone and Brivo Does not Work. What do I do?
Stop at the front desk and we will issue you a new brivo mobile pass.
How do I access the health center?
The health center is an upgrade to your membership. To activate a health center membership, you can do so by logging into your account or contacting the membership office for assistance. Your brivo app will include access doors upon activation.
How do the Lockers work?
You may use a locker in the health center for the duration of your workout. No lock needed as the lockers are digital pad self-lock.
You may rent a locker long term for an additional $20 monthly. Please request a rental with the membership office.
Childcare & Family Policies
Do you offer Gym Babysitting?
Yes, babysitting is available on the fitness floor. Passes are required to drop off your child. Click here to learn more about babysitting and purchase passes.
What age can my child be at the JCC without a parent?
Children 9 years and older may be at the JCC without a parent.
When can my child start using the fitness center?
Children 13 years and older may use the fitness center.
