Join our volunteer team and receive notifications of volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

Volunteer opportunities include and are not limited to:

  • Preparing and Delivering Senior Lunches
  • Serving as an usher for Gallery Players shows
  • Beautifying the JCC campus and/or Camp Hoover
  • Serving as a ticket taker during Columbus Jewish Film Festival
  • Helping with event setup and registration

FAMILY VOLUNTEERING INITIATIVE

The JCC is excited to announce a new initiative to support parents engaging their children in community service. Family volunteering is a meaningful way to :

  • Spend time together as a family
  • Teach your children the value of tikun olam by action
  • Teach your children about life and community beyond the classroom
  • Teach children they can make a difference

Once a month we will publish in the JCC newsletter a) organizations appropriate for family volunteering, b) tips on engaging children in meaningful and fun  projects, and c) stories shared by families about their experience. Some projects might be in-person, whereas others can happen at home.
