Register with friends and create your own team. This program guarantees a consistent day and time for seven weeks of round-robin play with your group. Each team is assigned one court during their scheduled time. Team size is determined by the group, and each participant pays the registration fee individually.
Women's League
A women-only league where participants are matched by skill level. Players rotate partners each game, providing varied competition and opportunities to play with others at a similar level.
Ladder League
A co-ed competitive league where players move up or down the ladder each week based on match results, promoting competitive integrity and skill-based play.

Pickleball 101 is the first part of the beginning player pathway to playing pickleball at the JCC of Greater Columbus. In this class, you will be introduced to the different types of paddles, importance of investing in a pickleball shoe, working on the foundation part of the game: grips, contact point, footwork, swing basics, and serving.

Pickleball 201 is the second part of the beginning player pathway to playing pickleball at the JCC of Greater Columbus. In this class, you will review important key-concepts of Pickleball 101, move more in-depth into footwork, court positioning, dinking, serving and groundstrokes. Before moving to 301, you must be able to get your serve in, return from the baseline and be able to keep the ball in play.

Pickleball 301 is the third part of the beginning player pathway to playing pickleball at the JCC of Greater Columbus. In this class, you will learn the essential parts of playing the game: how to properly warm-up, review the rules, court positioning, how to keep score, and play a game. Our teaching staff will be on court the whole time, guiding you to a successful and enjoyable game. Before moving to 401, you must be able to keep score independently, know where to stand on court and can keep the ball in play.

Pickleball 401 is the fourth part of the beginning player pathway to playing pickleball at the JCC of Greater Columbus. In this class, you must know how to keep score and understand court positioning. Focus will be on consistency, how to transition from the baseline to the NVZ (No Volley Zone) line, proper footwork, serving and playing strategies.
Open Play & clinics
Open Play
Players register based on skill level. During the two-hour session, players rotate to ensure a balanced number of games played. Participants will play with a variety of partners within their designated skill-level group.
Free Play
Unstructured, first-come, first-served pickleball play. Times are listed on the court calendar. Playing rotation is determined by the paddle system. No court reservations are available for this program. Free for all JCC Members.

AK 65+ Open Play
Open play designed specifically for active older adults ages 65 and up. During the two-hour session, players rotate to ensure balanced gameplay. Participants will partner with a variety of players within their skill-level grouping.
Coach Game Clinic
Designed for intermediate to advanced players, this program provides live, on-court coaching from a JCC instructor during gameplay. Instruction is tailored to each participant’s style of play, with strategic feedback specific to game situations.
Drills and Game Clinic
A combined training session alternating between targeted skill-development drills and structured gameplay. Clinics are designed to reinforce techniques in realistic match situations. Participants are grouped by skill level and led by a JCC instructor.
Drive the Ball Clinic
A technique-focused clinic centered on generating effective pace, improving drive mechanics, footwork efficiency, and incorporating offensive drives into point strategy.

Our three week youth pickleball clinics are designed to take players from beginner to confident in just three sessions. Each week builds on the last — starting with core fundamentals, progressing through skill development, and finishing with full game play and fun challenges. By the end of the clinic, every participant will have the skills and knowledge to play a complete game of pickleball, including all the rules. Curriculum thoughtfully adjusted as needed to meet each age group where they are.
Danilets Pickleball managed by Elijah Danilets is instructing this program. Their PPR-certified coaches follow a structured yet fun approach to every session. Every child gets personalized attention and plenty of court time. Each clinic begins with focused drilling and station rotations to build muscle memory and confidence, then transitions into game play so players can put their new skills to the test in a real match setting. They believe the best learning happens when kids are having fun — so expect plenty of energy, encouragement, and competition along the way.
