A summer at Camp Chaverim offers campers the opportunity to learn through play and new experiences, develop life-long friendships, and build independence and self-confidence in a safe and welcoming environment. Each day allows campers to be active, creative, and have fun!
*Have a camper going into 3rd grade? Once per week, our 3rd grade campers will be transported to Camp Hoover to get a taste of Hoover! Check out Hoover offerings HERE

Weekly Hot Lunches
$35: Available for Camp Chaverim and Specialty Camps located at the College Ave JCC ONLY.
Aftercare
$80 (member)/$90 (community): Extend your camper’s day at the College Ave JCC location until 5:30! Aftercare will be held in the Zusman, where campers will be offered snacks and activities after their day of camp! Available for campers entering 1st-5th grades.
Registration Fee
$50: A one-time registration fee will be added for each camper registering after February 15th
Why JCamps
Amazing Staff
Our staff complete 25+ hours of training on child development, safety practices, and mental health awareness. Many of our staff grew up attending JCamps and most are coming back for their second, third, or even fourth summers as counselors!
Convenience
JCamps provides FREE busing from JCC North/Beth Tikvah and JCC New Albany/CJDS to all camps and from JCC College Ave to Camp Hoover!

Health & Safety
All camp staff are First Aid/CPR certified and FBI/BCI background checked. A camp nurse is onsite at Camp Chaverim and is available to consult with Camp Hoover staff as needed.
Jewish Values
Campers swim EVERY DAY (weather permitting). Camp Chaverim campers receive daily swim lessons from our Red Cross-certified Water Safety Instructors (WSIs).
Choose Your Own Adventure
Camp Chaverim and Hoover will have opportunities throughout the week to choose activities that they want to participate in! Activities will change for each rotation and may include competitions of kickball, knockout, or pickle ball; art activities like origami, sculpting, or water colors; games like chess, yard Yahtzee, or corn hole; and opportunities for movement through nature walks, yoga, or dance.
